3CX for a lot of years has been a mainstay in the PBX market providing managed service providers with a stable platform for delivering VOIP telephony services to clients. Recently though 3CX has been causing some pain points for it’s hosted and non hosted clients with version 20 which has seen some major features removed and or restricted. 3CX administrators have also shared frustration over a lack of control in regards to choosing service providers through sip trunking.
Tellco has long provided an alternative 3CX hosting platform and is well versed in the benefits and challenges of the 3CX platform. We’ve helped several managed service providers host 3CX on our telecom centric virtual private server platform as well as providing tier two support for their installations. Tellco also provides a strong SIP trunking component that has been directly integrated with our 3CX hosting platform.
Enter CrimXen
Alongside 3CX, Tellco has maintained it’s hosted PBX platform culminating in version 3 which was code named Crimxen and has since been released. Crimxen is a multi-tenant hosted PBX system that is feature comparable to 3CX but has a more integrator based focus, allowing managed service providers to have fine grained control over their tenant systems while maintaining a consistent feature set. There are several compelling reasons to migrate to Crimxen and we’ve put together a comprehensive staged migration plan to make switching pain free and affordable.
